The Jack Savage Foundations’s sole purpose is to raise awareness and funds to support the mission of The University of Texas MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital, which is pursuing research breakthroughs and clinical excellence for the benefit of young patients and their families.
As a world leader in oncology care, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center embraces the mission of pursuing research breakthroughs and clinical excellence for the benefit of all patients — this includes children, adolescents and young adults. MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital offers the specialization of a pediatric setting housed within the resource-abundant, multidisciplinary framework of their larger institution. This duality sets the children’s hospital apart and positions them to best serve pediatric cancer patients.
The Jack Savage Annual Ski A Thon is a ski weekend dedicated to conquering more than just the slopes, but also conquering Pediatric and Young Adult Cancer by creating awareness and support for young patients and their families at The MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital. Annually skiers and snowboarders all rally together for a weekend of fun, laughter, and friendship that everyone can enjoy.
If you don’t ski or snowboard, no problem! Party hard at Basecamp and enjoy all the fun of a day on the mountain without hitting the slopes. Heavenly Lake Tahoe has something for everyone!
